Katherine Court

This Macon landmark, now on the National Register, will soon turn 100. New mechanical systems were installed in time for the grand opening in 2002 and the Macon Heritage Foundation presented Katherine Court a design/preservation award. Katherine Court is now a modern facility inside a historic building: with high speed Internet, washer-dryer connections, stainless hardware, dishwashers and 90% efficiency natural gas furnaces along with pilot-less gas cooking. These updates also help keep utility bills low. Katherine Court, across from the Cannon Ball house and the Hay House, is within a ten-minute walk of at least 20 eating and drinking establishments. It is also close to the Medical Center of Central Georgia and Mercer University School of Law. Each of the 28 apartments is unique and most have patios, and there is also a spectacular roof top deck.
